Immunity and the Microbiome: the acid test of homeopathy
Immunity is a complex phenomenon based on many factors, not the least of which is the health and stability of the microbiome. During this session Dr Whitmont will introduce the microbiome and explain its relevance to immunity. He will also review and contrast the distinctive differences between conventional and homeopathic medicines on the microbiome and their short and long term impacts on human health.
Ronald D. Whitmont, MD, is former president of the American Institute of Homeopathy (AIH), the Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of New York (HMSSNY) and is active as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at New York Medical College (NYMC). He was Board Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and is a founding diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM). He is a second-generation classical homeopathic physician.
Dr. Whitmont acts as medical advisor to Americans for Homeopathy Choice (AFHC) where he has met with representatives from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Congressional offices.
